Experience a relaxing evening of watching the stars come out near Cussewago Creek. Richard Gosnell, Penn State Behrend astronomy lecturer and a Kripalu trained Mindful Outdoor Guide, will explain the basics of calming your mind for observing nature at twilight and the basics of viewing the stars of the night sky. We will discuss how avian behavior changes during twilight; how birds use the night sky; and the dangers of artificial light to wildlife. Bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the program will be canceled. This is a free event. Click here to register.
